The American Loggers Council is made up of a coalition of state and regional logging associations currently representing 30 states across the U.S. ALC is the only national organization solely dedicated to representing the independent contract logger. Membership means joining forces with logging professionals around the country to impact the industry positively and pro-actively. Membership means sharing the benefits of education and training opportunities, networking, research, promotion, and legislative coordination. Membership includes two classes: 1) ALC State/Regional Logging Association Membership, and 2) Individual Logger Membership.

ALC is an association of state and regional logging organizations. Members consist of firms that are primarily engaged in the harvesting of forest products, including transportation of logs, chips or other products from the harvesting site.
